Internet connection problem – Modem port scan?

I have a problem with my internet. Browsing for solutions over the internet, someone mentioned a modem port scan. What does this have to do with my internet? I have my own internet but I think my neighbour is also connecting on my internet via wifi.

Internet connection problem – Modem port scan?

Modem port scanning is a process that performs a port scan on your IP address. This suggests whether you are properly secured or the ports on the computer functions properly etc. If your internet connection error is due to any errors in the connecting ports it will detect it through a scan. If you are using a DSL or cable modem port scanning software will give you the details about whether the IP ports are blocked or in use. You can correct the error in your internet connection if it is with the ports only.

* If the scan gives you a result as "Port is open", that means there is no error in the ports.

* If it gives a result like" Port is blocked", there is an error.

But usually this port scan has nothing to do with errors in your internet connection. It is commonly used in networking stuff.

Good day. As I see, your main issue is "someone is also connecting in your wifi internet". I think you are experiencing slow connection. If you are using a wifi connection, you need to scan your computer ip address. The question is "H O W?" follow this steps. 1. If you are using a wifi modem, check the brand name. 2. Search the brand name, then download the software for the wifi modem. 3. Here is the easiest way. Download An IP Scanner. Hope this will help you.
