Installing wide lens on a Sony HDR C410VE

I have a Sony video camera HDR CX410VE, it has a wide lens, but I was planning on putting in a much better wide lens to suite my needs. Now, I just want to know if there will be any functionality of this device that may get affected if I do so?

Installing wide lens on a Sony HDR C410VE

Hi Deborah, based on the technical specifications of the device, any functionality of the camera won’t be affected by such additional lens. The camera’s 55x zoom lens as well as its Full HD capabilities which records smooth 50 fps with ease.  It’s wide angle lens 0.5 x provides you the awesome way to cover a large part of an area at a shorter distance. It is ultra light and sturdy so need not worry of adding several different types of lenses.
