Dear Jim bbauman,

Web directory it looks like as the guide that categorizes the websites, this categorization is based on the type of this website and the aim of it, but it is different from search engines, it is maintained by humans not software, and there are a lot of these directories but I think yahoo Directory is the oldest and the best web directory.
