I get an error when installing Live Essentials

I am facing some problems when I try to install the newest version of Live Essentials in my pc.

I tried it for several times.

But every time I just get a message and that is:

Couldn't install programs
Please try installing Windows Live programs again

An unknown error occurred
Error: 0x800b0003
Source: WaitForCatalog

It is very essential for me to run this software. So, please I need some advice for this.

I get an error when installing Live Essentials

Hi there,

I searched for your problem and came up with these solutions. Hope they will help solving your problems.

Solution 1:

This error came up if you have a bad copy of installation or bad net connection so that some files of the setup are not properly installed. You should try to use Offline installer of the live messenger. Here is the link which will help you.

Solution 2:

If this doesn’t work then try system restore. This will reconfigure your system to an earlier setting which worked fine and your problem might be solved. It will work.

I get an error when installing Live Essentials

Hi there,

Based on the error code you have provided, it seems that the form specified by the subject is not supported or known by the specified trust provider. In case you didn’t know, the installation of Live Essentials will rely on Windows Update.

Try checking if you have already installed Live Essentials on your computer and make sure to fully remove any existing Live Essentials application because it is possible that you might have installed Live Essentials in the past and failed to uninstall it completely.

You may use the cleanup tool:

If you fail to resolve the problem after doing so, try checking if you have installed all the necessary windows update. If you haven’t, please install all the important updates first. In addition to that, if you’re having a problem downloading or installing the Windows Updates, try visiting and run Microsoft Fix it.
