I am unable to install Pinnacle Studio 12

I was trying to install Pinnacle Studio 12.1 Update as Pinnacle recommends installing it together with Pinnacle Studio 12.0 Version on my Windows 7 23-bit with no success. I thought I could retry after rebooting my computer, but am still getting the same error shown below. What could be the problem?

there is problem with your windows installer package.

this error may also occur when .NET Framework installed on your computer is damaged or missing.

you should visit microsoft website and down load the latest windows installer package and .net framework.

further more you should also try to update your system with latest service packs and see whether your problems get resolved.

Also check your pinnacle software installer package, may be it is corrupted. If yes then you need to download the correct version.

If after taking all the above steps you are still facing the same problems than submit a support ticket at pinnacle software website for technical support.

If you are installing Pinnacle Studio 12 on a 32-bit Microsoft Windows 7, that is not possible because the operating system is not officially supported. If you want to install Pinnacle Studio 12, you need to have either Microsoft Windows XP or Microsoft Windows Vista. Before installing Pinnacle Studio 12, make sure it is fully compatible with your computer.

Pinnacle Studio 12 supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 or higher and Windows Vista Service Pack 1 or higher. It requires at least Intel Pentium 1.8 GHz or faster or equivalent AMD Athlon processor, 3 GB free hard drive space, 1 GB RAM, and Microsoft DirectX-compatible sound card. If you are using Microsoft Windows XP like in your screenshot, you should have Service Pack 2 or higher.

Download and install Windows XP Service Pack 3. This is the latest and very last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows XP. There are different kinds of errors triggered during installation that are signs of incompatibility and this one appears to be among them.
