Hello experts,

How will I be able to edit scr file? And what is the software that can be use to edit a scr file or any other application related to this that can give a contribution on the editing process. I really don’t have any idea how; I hope you can help me regarding this matter. Thank you.

How will I be able to edit scr file?

To edit SCR or Screen Saver Files, you can use Notepad or notepad++. Just open the .scr file on your desktop and then open a blank Notepad. Drag your .scr file on your Notepad and that's it. Or you can also follow the instructions below:

1. Right-click on the scr file to view the context menu and then click "Open With".
2. Click "Easy ScreenSaver Station" to launch the editor.
3. Click Preview button to view the screen saver before editing.
4. Click Next to see the list of images on the foreground Objects screen.
5. Click an image on the list to edit the foreground image. Click Add and then search for a new JPG, GIF or PNG file. Click Remove to remove an image on the list. Click Next again.
6. Select the Transitions to edit the transitions of the images. Click the clock or just enter a delay time under the Delay field and then tick the radio button after your desired image position and then click Next.
7. Tick the checkbox in front of the "Protect my creation with a password" if you want. Just type and confirm a password and then click Next.
8. Click the File on top and then click Save to save the edited scr file.
