Hi! You can update your Samsung 3500i with the use of "Kies", this is supported of samsung. Download and install this application to your computer, once you connect your phone to your computer it will automatically check for an update and it will ask you if you want to update your phone.

These are the system requirements:

1. Operating system – Windows 7, vista, XP (32 and 64 bit)

2. Software – .Net framework 3.5 SP! And above, ActiveSync (for Windows XP)

3. Screen resolution – 1024 x 768

4. Minimum RAM – 1GB
