I just installed hamachi messenger download from chipdownload.eu. using 128bit encryption for peer-to-peer data exchange between 2 computers in my network. The problem is when the messenger is online, internet won't work. I am using local static ip. What could be the problem?

Firstly open hamachi and write your hamachi IP address down on some paper.

Ensure hamachi is running and write your hamachi IP address down

Locate Hamachi network adapter from the Control panel>Network connections.

Get the TCP/IP properties

A window with general and alternate configurations appears.

Set IP and DNSservers obtain automatically

Choose the Alternate configuration from the tabs

Choose the option User configuration

Insert the Hamachi IP that you previously wrote down

Make the subnet Mask to be 255.0.0.0, the Default Gateway put 5.0.0.0
Restart the computer. It will work!
