How to open eps arcgis a solution for this thread. EPS is not a supported format for import. But which solution is the best? How to import EPS file to arcview? Is there a way to extract the vector information from an EPS?

How to open eps arcgis a solution for this thread

ArcGis does not support EPS format and hence you will at first have to convert the EPS file into other format that are allowed like jpg,GIF,TIFF,BMP etc. Each of these is a raster format. You need to use a specific software if you want to extract vector information from the EPS file. You can use the adobe illustrator as this is the software that supports EPS file and finally you can extract vector drawing out of that EPS file. Hope this will work.
