How to fix iPhone 4s battery draining and overheating issue?

My friend brought an iphone 4s few days ago and upgraded it to iOS 6.1. Since the upgrade he's having some issue of battery draining and overheating. If anyone have this issue or have experience facing the issue please let me know.  And also give me the fix of the issue if you have.

You need not worry as most of the iPhone 4s users are facing the same problem with the upgrade of IOS 6.1.

Many complaints have been registered by the iPhone 4s users regarding overheating and battery draining especially after upgrading to the IOS 6.1. Apple has addressed this issue and has released the next version IOS 6.1.1 only for the iPhone 4s users.
