How do you record skype calls on a local network?

Hey everyone,

I am looking for some type of software that can record Skype calls on a local network. Skype has no built in feature to record calls and I would like the option of saving my audio and video conversations with simple software.

I would like to be able to record between video and audio and audio only, and also be able to record Skype conversations between multiple people at one time. Something preferably with an easy to use interface also.

There are many programs that can record audio and video calls from Skype. I will give you the better ones. For Mac there is a Skype add-on that may be good for you and it is called Call Recorder. If you are a Windows user use Pamela, Evaer or Supertintin. If you are looking for a free alternative use Skype Call Recorder.

There is some software that you can use to record any conversation you want to on Skype. Here are the lists of software you can use and the good thing with this software is this is supported by Skype:

 

1. Pamela. This is compatible with Windows Operating System and you can download this for free.  

   

These are the features of this software:

•    You can record video on Skype
•    You can record chat on Skype
•    There is a Conference Call manager for Skype
•    You can record calls on Skype
•    There is a Call Scheduler for Skype
•    There is a Call Transfer for Skype
•    You can set to record a call automatically
•    There is a Mono/Stereo recording option
•    It also has an Answering Machine
•    You can make cute mood messages
•    There are Podcasting and Blogging
•    You can play music even during your calls

2. Wiretap Studio. This is compatible with Mac Operating System. This software allows you to record and even edit your audio or video from iTunes and Skype. But unlike Pamela, WireTap Studio is not free you can buy this for $65.

3. MP3 Skype Recorder. This is compatible with Windows Operating System and you can download this for free.

•    You can set you recording in manual or automatic.
•    You can record calls from Skype, P2P, and other calls you made through Online.
