How do I Qnap internet connection diagnose port in use?

Hello guys.  I am not a technical guy so please stay with me.  I'm trying to set up my Qnap server but it could not detect the internet connection.  How do I Qnap internet connection diagnose the port in use?  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

How do I Qnap internet connection diagnose port in use?

Hi Elijah,

Make sure that the drive you got is not a DOA (Dead on arrival) or in other words. If it was a DOA it cannot be recognized by NAS.

DOA can still give you an opportunity to try it out and send signals however since it cannot be detected by NAS it will not receive any ping back.
