How to configure PS3 controller and use it on PC?

I need some help connecting my ps3 controller to my IBM PC ! I have the Joystick to mouse program installed already and my ps3 controller is connect with a USB cable to my pc and I have the program open and now I'm stuck and don't know how to make the ps3 controller work.

How to configure PS3 controller and use it on PC?

To start the Joystick-To-Mouse:

1. Click on the Start button and select (All) Programs and then select Joystick-To-Mouse.

2. The Joystick-To-Mouse menu will have options that correspond with icons on the group. Select Joystick-to-Mouse to start it.

3. It will start the Joystick Interface automatically, now you can be able to move the mouse cursor. If it doesn't start automatically, there is an option screen with different options to diagnose the configuration and make the Joystick-To-Mouse operational.
