As we all know that exchange server works on the basis of the windows operating system. Well, this is a new type of evolved exchange server which was first to require the windows x64 version of windows operating system. This all about the newly evolved version of the exchange servers and rest of the features are same as the previous once but there might be some of the changes occurred in the process of evolution but the most of the features are same and the process of getting self-assigned certificates can be drawn out in many different ways and there is a process which I would mention here which worked with me:

dxchnge managment

Step 1: we need to request a certificate using CAS or any other has we said there are many ways.

Step 2: Then once we got the certificates then we must go to the advanced certificate requests.
Step 3: Click Submit a certificate request using CAS or any other.
Step 4: open c drive in it go to c:\newcertreq.req copy and paste it into 64-bit encoded certificate box with the help of notepad.
Step 5: Step a web server and then drop the box and then drop it by clicking submit.
Step 6: Then click on the download the Certificate chain from where the root of the certificate is present. And then save it to .p7b file format.
Step 7: By the use of management shell import-exchange certificate
