It is true that iPhone 5 will be larger than previous one but it will  most probably 3.5 inches. Otherwise  someone said that iPhone screen size will have 4 inch or 4.2 inch.  So it is not sure that what will be the actual size. So you need to wait until the iPhone 5 release.

According to iOS6, the iPhone 5 is rumored to have a larger screen that likely will grow to a 4-inch display size, featuring a screen resolution of 640×1136 (which was discovered after testing the iOS 6 through the iOS simulator application that is featured in the iOS development tools) and resulted in a screen that  has a complete 5 rows of icons.
