Hello there,

I'm having trouble with creating my own theme with my HP laptop. I want my theme to be like the one in my mobile phone. I'm using MTC with Java Runtime Environment 1.6. MTC created an XML file but when I save the images, an SVG error comes out. Could someone please help me with the HP theme make your own?

Hello,

MTC works very well with Java Runtime Environment 1.6 so the problem is not software compatibility. If your theme does not show any theme or if you get an SVG error, you are trying to download the images from a directory or a folder that has special characters. Change your directory to have Latin character. Do the same if your Windows username has special characters, change to Latin and reboot your System.

Hello,

Can you please tell me which type of SVG error showing you? There could be two cases like “xml error message is shown”. If this message shown to you then your image is broken and you have to fix it.

The other case could be “the image does not have SVG name space”, you can fix it by adding “xml="http://www.w3.org/2000/svg" with the <svg> tag, for instance <svg xml="http: // www.w3.org/2000/svg">.

It’s means that you are using opera 8.01 browser which is without correct attribute name space considered as SVG. So, xml name space attributes are not present in SVG. It looks like “xml: svg”. This is supported by opera but you have to read about XML name spaces.
