1. I have read a forum saying that Haier released a waterproof cellular phone. I just want to know if there's any chance that this gadget is available in the market?
Haier, a Chinese gadget manufacturer known for their refrigerators, freezers, washing machine, air conditioner and television launched a durable phone called Zing. It runs with Alibaba Aliyun mobile operating system.
Aliyun OS is most good-liked operating system of China. This Smartphone was introduced to consumers on June 6, 2012 and will reach the shelves by June 15 in Beijing. It has a waterproof, dust-proof and shock-proof attributes. Zing can be placed under water if you want and come out functioning as it was before it submerged in.Â
The phone features a 4-inch WVGA screen with approximately 800×480 resolutions. It is powered by 1 GHz CPU, 512 MB RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera and 0.3 megapixel VGA front camera, and 1500 mAh battery. It has a built-in MicroSD slot and 8 GB internal flash memory for extension. This feature of this waterproof Zing is relative to its low price of ¥999 in China, equivalent to $157. No announcement yet if it will be released too in other countries.
