Can you please tell me how to implement Altiris? I am interested of having this management software which allows organizations to manage work programs in computer networks. I’m planning to use it for more secure and organize workflows. What are the guidelines on executing Altiris?

Hello Leo Price,

I am hoping that you want to implement the atiris management software in CMS, then I will suggest that you get the 2008 R2 and service pack 1 of that software. You should not use an SQL off box, and you will need to pre assign the database files and for that you will need to use a space of about 50 GB.

If you have an independent task server in your company then it meets the NS criteria, you will just be required to install the Symantec management platform, and thereafter you  will configure the solutions. But to access the computers on each platform you will need the administrative credentials.
