Got an error while accessing a remote server

I was trying to access a remote server within the office when this error message popped up (see screenshot below).

The remote server has been paused or is in the process of being started

I just used the server I was accessing and wondered why this error happened. 

I am just a new System Administrator and needs your expertise here. 

Any advice on how to fix the problem?

Got an error while accessing a remote server

Hello Eyoung,

Just as the error message says, it could be possible that the server you are trying to access is pause or has been shut down and therefore you cannot gain access to it. You will need to restart the server or remove it from the idle state for you to be able to access it.

You also need to check the computer that you are own and make sure that it has an active connection to the network, because if it not connected to the network then you will not be able to access the server remotely. You may also need to restart that computer to refresh the connection to the network.
