My Friends,

I need this solved immediately. I had registered with Google absence and had created a page to place my links there but now when I access that page in Google site, I received the error message. See the attached image.

The webpage at https://accounts.google.com/Login?hl=en /might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): Unknown error.

If you think it is due to wrong browser,  then let me tell you that you are wrong. I have tried to access the page from many other browsers like Firefox, Opera, IE 8, Safari, etc. I received the same error message in all browsers, and the page isn’t displayed.

Please help me as the page is very important to me.  I have to get it explored and take my links out of it.

Please do reply if you know the solution.

Hi Meshaal!

This normally happens due to one of the following reasons:

  1. After updating the web browser
  2. If there is a malware or spyware on the computer
  3. Because of your Antivirus/Firewall software.

To resolve this, please try to do the following steps:

For Google Chrome:

  1. Click on the "tools" menu.
  2. Click "Options".
  3. Select on "under the hood" tab.
  4. Click on "changed proxy settings".

Note: an Internet Properties dialog box should come up.

  1. Click LAN settings:
  2. Please be sure that the "automatically detect settings" checkbox is selected.
  3. Click OK on all the dialog boxes.
  4. Close your browser and try to get online again.

This should resolve the issue.
