Gamester Pad Won’t Work in Windows Vista Home Premium

I have an XBD Device Driver Version 1.07 which is upgraded to Version 9.0.0 that comes with Gamester Pad. I wonder why it does not work with my Computer. My Operating System is Windows Vista Home Premium 32Bits. Is it because my Gamester Pad is not supported by Microsoft or what? Or maybe because I have Prolific USB-to-serial Comm Port in the COM/LPT section of my device manager. Do you think this is a good port to use?

The only thing to see if it is working is to connect it to another computer with the same drivers and cables so that we can see if it works or not. First confirm this thing then go to next step.

Uninstall the drivers and install the previous drivers again. The old drivers might have the compatibility with the Vista Home Premium. Go to control panel and printer and devices. When you see your pad there right click and go to properties and remove/uninstall driver.

Try connecting the gamester pad directly without using the usb to serial comm port connector cable.

If it still don't work then it is sure that the pad is faulty now and you have to replace it.
