Format Factory Software – Error Message

Hi all

I was running format factory software very nicely in my computer but my window was damaged some days ago as well as I setup the window again.

However when I want to install format factory once more, it gives an error:

C:Program FilesFreeTimeFormatFactoryFormatFactory.exe

This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem.

Then, I have uninstalled it and again installed it for couple of times but it is not running. Do something. Please. Thanks in advance.

Format Factory Software – Error Message

Hello Sharonfaviles!

After uninstalling the application, you need to remove the configuration/folder of the program. You have to do it manually. Follow these simple steps.

1. Open your Windows Explorer. Click Tools -> Folder options. (see image below)

2. A box will appear, now click View tab then choose Show hidden files, folder, and drives. Click Apply. (see image below)

3. Now browse to this directory “C:UsersYOURUSERNAMEAppDataRoaming” and delete the folder of the application. (see image below)

You can now install the application.

Format Factory Software – Error Message

 

Hi Sharon!

If your software was damage there are many solutions to recover and fix them.

1.       Uninstall the program and try to download a new copy of that installer. (tips to run the installer, right click the installer and click “run as administrator”)

2.       If you had restore point on your computer before it was damage try to take back the system restore.
