Fix Msvcp71.dll and Msvcr71.dll Missing Error in Windows 7

Do any of you have experienced Msvcp71.dll and Msvcr71.dll missing error whenever you try to open an application in Windows 7?

As a matter of fact both files are Microsoft C Runtime Library files and it senses like they have escaped adding these files into Windows 7. Most of the programs / applications look for both of these files in order to execute in smooth nature.

However, we have got you with both of the files on this same page as you may download it.

But the only question arises how to install it in the root folder?

Though, regardless of the matter, you may have a look at the following screen shots (error messages).

Hi Gracekmakris,

If you already have these files then just use Window explorer to copy in these folder C:/windows/system32 if your OS is 32bit, on the other hand if you are using 64bit then copy those files to C:/windows/SysWOW64,

You are using windows 7 and if you want to solve that problem then your operating system must be 32 bits.

There is software for you. msvcp71.dll This software will help you a lot.

Fix Msvcp71.dll and Msvcr71.dll Missing Error in Windows 7

See the program can’t start because the mentioned MSVCP71.DLL file is missing from your program folder. Don't reinstall the program as this doesn't help at all. The solution to solve this problem is as follows :

1. Download the MSVCP71.DLL files

2. Extract the files and copy the dll files into the directory where you are installing the program. For example if the program is installed in c:/Program Files/edonkey2000 then go to this directory and paste the dll files.

3. Restart your Application.

This problem is occurring for registry problem. Also virus or malware or for hardware failure you can face this problem. So to fix this issue recover this file using File Recover Program. Then scan your system with antivirus software.
