I am currently using Windows 8 on my computer. During installation of an application. The screen freezes for few seconds and error code 6005 comes on the screen. What does it mean and how to resolve it? Please help.

The error code 6005 on your device is mostly because of driver failure or corrupted data files. The Incompatible driver might also cause this error.

Try the following method to resolve it

In the search tool, type sysdm.cpl, and press enter. Select the tab named as Hardware and click device manager from the given options select the device showing error code 6005. Select its hardware device drivers and uninstall it. Then install the updated drivers for your device.

Then download the error code 6005 repair wizard and install it. Allow it to run a complete scan and it will automatically fix all the bugs.
