Error Message When Launching Empire Earth II

I am trying to launch Empire Earth II, but I get this message: "FATAL PROBLEM at C:EE2EE2Main.cpp:747.

Failed to load image splash.bmp. Wrong working directory, perhaps?"

I am trying to install and uninstall it then install it again, but still it does not work.

It is very inconvenient on my part, especially if I am in the middle of something. 

The information I am working will all be lost. 

Please help me fix this problem.

Hi,

I have some solution and suggestion that i hope it will help you to solve your problem. As you mentioned your problem when you launch EMPIRE EARTH II the message problem appeared as "FATAL PROBLEM and the link that you provided" i have suggestion for this try to uninstall your java or remove it with the use of control panel and then go to remove/add hardware then remove JAVA and then try to download the LATEST JAVA as of now then. 

REBOOT your computer and then launch again your game if this is will work and If this not work for you it means that you install a corrupt file or missing file and try to reinstall new and i advice if you use to download this game i suggest also don't interrupt while downloading file because interruption of file may cause corruption of file.

If not work again try to contact the provider of that game for some advice and guide.

I hope it will help and gain information to solve this issue.

Error Message When Launching Empire Earth II

Hi,

Try to uninstall and then reinstall the game. Go to Control Panel and then Add/Remove Programs. Locate the game and then right-click it to uninstall. Or try to open Paint and then save the picture as splash on a 24-bit bitmap file.

Save it under C:EE2srcEE2 folder and then try to start the game again and see if it works.

If you want to play “Empire Earth II”, make sure your computer meets the requirements. You cannot play a game that is not compatible with your computer. “Empire Earth II” supports Windows 98, Windows Millennium, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. Windows NT, Windows 95, and higher are not supported.
