Error downloading VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware

I have issues with downloading the Vipre Antivirus + Antispyware. When I try to download this software next error message pops up:

Error 1335. The cabinet file 'Data1.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used.

This could mean a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

I am really puzzled with this error report, so can anyone please explain what this message mean and how to fix it?

First you check whether your system is 32 bit and 64 bit versions of windows XP SP2 and above or vista or Win7. Check your computer configuration whether it meets the minimum requirement for VIPRE or not. Otherwise it will never download or take install. Then please uninstall and remove other antivirus or anti spam software if any in your machine. Again mind it that VIPRE is licensed for only up to 10 PCs. So, if you have done that, then it is very likely to have these kinds of problems. Following your computer’s configuration and uninstalling other antivirus software, try it from the beginning. Hope it will work.

Error downloading VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware

The installer that you have downloaded is already broken even before you downloaded it. The installer stored on the server of the website where you downloaded it got a corrupted file in it that’s why you can not install the antivirus. The Data1.cab cabinet file that is needed in the installation of VIPRE Antivirus + Antispyware is corrupted and cannot be opened. If you really want to install this antivirus, search for another site that offers this software other than the one where you got it.

You may also want to try Norton Antivirus 2012 with Antispyware. This is a very tough antivirus application that will surely guard your system. You can download this at https://us.norton.com/antivirus/.

I downloaded the file from a particular website. It's the only website that I think is trusted. I've heard that VIPRE is a very good Anti-virus and Anti-spyware that's why I chose it. I think I might go with Norton. It has pretty much good reviews.
