Error 319 on System Center Data Protection Manager 2012

Hi guys! I have a problem with System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 (DPM). When pushing it to the target PC, it always failed with the error I posted below.

Install protection agent on name.domain.com failed:
Error 319: The agent operation failed because of a communication error with the DPM Agent Coordinator service on name.domain.com.
Error details: The RPC server is unavailable (0x800706BA)

The alert is showing an event log describing “Agent operation failed. (ID: 370) The agent operation failed because of a communication error with the DPM Agent Coordinator service on name.domain.com. (ID: 319).

Anyone have any idea on how to resolve this?

Error 319 on System Center Data Protection Manager 2012

The reason why you are encountering an error 319 while pushing System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 to the target computer is because the target computer blocks dpmac.exe from accepting incoming connections. To fix the problem, temporarily disable the Windows Firewall of the target computer until the installation is completed. When the installation of System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 is finished, you can re-enable the Windows Firewall of the target computer.

But there are times that during the initial attempt to push the agent to the target computer, the attempt fails. If this is the first attempt and it fails, try it again and then be sure to disable first the Windows Firewall of the target computer so the installation will push through. Enable it back afterwards.
