Hello,

I have upgraded recently my Drupal 6.13 to the latest one (version 6.25). All was going fine. When I go for editing using edit tab, a blank white page appears in Firefox with an http 500 error in IE9.

Can anyone help me here please?

Drupal 6.25 giving errors after the upgradation

Hi there Evan M Gutierrez,

Error 500 is the internal server error that can be caused by several different reasons.

One of the most common reasons for this error are wrong permissions. Sometimes file and directory permissions get messed up during the update, so connect to your site via FTP and check if permissions and users are fine.

If the problem occurs only while opening the Content edit tab, you may want to check your WYSIWYG module's configuration. Sometimes when one user changes the content using the full HTML editor and another is trying to use simple one, this error appears. Change the user roles to give them full HTML permissions and update the content to use filtered HTML, that should solve the problem.

Best regards,
Drake Vivian
