. The DNS is a domain name system which is a domain based naming and a distributed database system  it is used for the implementation of named schemes used for host names mappings and email destinations It looks up to the name and then returns backs to the IP address .The function of DNS is to resolve many internet issues the DNS helps the internet connections not to be conflict it assigns a unique name to the network where each network cannot be conflicted with other network as there are numerous workstations. The DNS is defined in RFC 1034 and 1035. It simple terms it helps in establishing the TCP connection. The below is the image

DNS is what we called the Domain Name Server. Domain Name Server acts as the Registry of all computers inside the network. With this server computers are accessible via their names instead of IP address. Just like in the internet www.techyv.com is not accessible as is when there is no DNS. The IP of techyv.com was forwarded to the DNS server so that techyv.com will be accessible on the internet without visiting the IP address, instead the DNS will redirect it to the IP forwarded to them.

TCP or the transmission control protocol is the gateway where remote accesses are managed. TCP works as the connecting lines between computers remotely. This is the only way where different language of computers can communicate.
