Do you have any digital defender antivirus review?

Good am! I'm really curious about this new brand of antivirus found in the market today. Just like avast, digital defender can also be downloaded for free. What do you think is its advantage (if there are any) over other free antivirus programs which came before it? Can you share your digital defender antivirus review? I'm still undecided whether to install this one on my computer or just stick with my avast.

Hello Kurt Pry,

I have read some insights about the new antivirus called Digital Defender for you. 

 

The good thing about it is that:

• It won't cost you a penny. The software is totally free.
• It is very easy to install.
• The Full system scan is relatively fast.

 

The bad:

• It has a poor malware detection rate.
• After detecting the Malware, it had a hard time removing it.
• It lacks the capability of protecting your computer from future malware installations.

 

I therefore conclude that the new product has a long way to go to compete with the other free security software. It is wise to stick with what you have at the moment to ensure you are protected.

Hello,

This security software as I have researched is free and very competitive with other antivirus. Its gains are its free and very easy to use and install its also very fast in full system scan. The product has also drawbacks which include bad malware detention and also removing them. Its compatibility to protect your PC is very minimal.

I would ask you to remain with the antivirus you have.

Hello Kurt,

You are right that Digital Defender can be downloaded for free, but to be precise the freely available version is the trial version which works only for 30 days and that you need to purchase it if you want to use it any further.

It offers a wide range of new features that are not available with other antivirus software. I am listing only those special features of Digital Defender that other antivirus do not offer.

• With traditional antivirus software, we often see unnecessary alerts from false detection. Digital Defender puts an end to all those erroneous alerts.
• Hourly updates are available for this antivirus, so this means that your antivirus program is always up-to-date with latest updates.
• Instant telephonic support in case you face any problem.
• The best feature offered by Digital defender is the special ‘Game Mode’ which focuses especially on threats coming from the games installed on your system.

So, use it or not, that is completely up to you but you must give it a shot and consider trying the trial version.

Hi,

Reviewing feedbacks on the web, digital defender has a poor malware detection and removal. You can have it for free but you may not have the protection you wanted.

An antivirus reviewer listed your Avast as it’s #1 free antivirus software. I am listing some more below:

1. Avast Free Antivirus.
2. Panda Cloud Antivirus.
3. Emsisoft Emergency Kit.
4. Zone Alarm Free Antivirus + Firewall.

Just to name a few. The AVG 2013 Antivirus was even listed as its 8th best. Of course, review varies from author to author.

Have you considered purchasing an antivirus? Having a purchased antivirus has more features than a freeware.
