Hey, the error 1722 there is a problem with this installer package are supported in many of the cross platforms too and they have many windows OS too as well. They are supported in windows platforms such as windows 8, windows Xp, windows 10 and many others also. The steps for the solutions are given below:

• Go to start > run > type for the services.msc
• Now open the windows installer
• Next set the installer manually too
• Now go to start and services and note the error and solved too.

If you want to update Windows Installer to the latest, go to the Windows Installer 4.5 download page. Download only the version specific to your operating system. Windows Installer 4.5 supports Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Windows Vista including Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 and Windows Server 2008. On my computer, I have Windows 7 and it has Windows Installer 5.0.

Windows Installer 5.0 is released for the following operating systems:

• Windows 7
• Windows 8
• Windows Server 2008 R2
• Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1
• Windows Server 2012
• Windows server 2012 R2

Unfortunately, there is no redistributable package for Windows Installer 5.0.
