Description About SharePoint Workspace 2010 In Brief

Microsoft SharePoint Workspace or Groove is an application for document collaboration among the regular off-line members not sharing the network security clearance. It is used by emergency relief agencies where institutes do not share a common network ,and offline access is of prime importance. It has basic services like security, persistent chat, firewall transparency, ad-hoc info, store and forward text delivery and notification change. It is now discontinued in Office, and hence it is not a good idea to use it anymore.
