Could not register your copy of Camtasia Studio

Hi guys,

I have been working well with my Camtasia Studio. Recently I received an error message from it. The software is very essential for me to capture, edit and share my video. Have a look at the error message below. How can I get a remedy of this issue? Please help.

You may still use Camtasia Studio throughout your trial period.

Hello Nelson,

Thanks for sharing your problem with us, it seems that you are using a trial version of Camtasia Studio. If you want to register your product then purchase a licence key from the software manufacturer. If you are using someone else licence key then these keys will not register your software. Because licence keys can be used once.

Hi Nelson Carters,

Maybe you’re using pirated software. To avoid those messages you have to prevent your software from connecting the internet. You can do it using your firewall. On the other hand, if you are using trial version there’s nothing you can do but to purchase a license key from software manufacturer.

Could not register your copy of Camtasia Studio

That dialog means you are using the trial version of Camtasia Studio. Maybe you tried to register an invalid license key that’s why that message appeared. That dialog will not appear if you didn’t try to register the application. Since you are using the trial version, you are free to use the application with all its complete features for the entire duration of the trial period.

For Camtasia Studio, the trial period lasts for 30 days. After this, the trial period expires and you need to purchase the application if you want to continue using it or uninstall it if you don’t want to buy it. A single user license costs around $199. If you already have a license, you can download the latest from Camtasia Studio.

The latest version at the moment supports Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 64-bit only. It requires 2 GHz Dual-Core or faster processor, 4 GB RAM, 2 GB free space, Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 or higher, and minimum 1024 x 768 screen resolution.
