Hi Joshephadamm,

I believe I will well help you with this question to solve the problem you are facing. The main probable cause of this error is the corrupt files in the registry and the preferences set.

So what you first need to do to solve this query is to go to Start -> Run -> Type 'regedit' to open the registry editor.

In the registry editor, navigate to H_KEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_SOFTWARESAdobe Cs3

Delete all the files in that folder.

Registry editor

Uninstall the software and reinstall it,

It should start working.

I hope this sorts your question.

Thanks.

Hi Josheph,

I think I can help you with the solving of this query. This is most probably as a cause of the corrupted files in the directory. You need to repair the directory. What you need to do in this case is the following;

You need to use 'Save as' when renaming the photos. Ensure you rename all the remaining files and make them have a significant name.

Ensure you load the fonts and use a software such as 'Suitcase' for the font management.

Reset Characters in Photoshop

Try deleting all the preferences.

Preferences

It should work.

Thanks.
