If you want to install FileCure, check the system requirements first and verify that your computer meets those requirements. FileCure supports Windows XP Service Pack 3 (32-bit only), Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10. It requires Intel Pentium 3 or faster processor, 256 MB RAM, and 20 MB free space.

I’m not sure why Windows Vista is not included but you can try if you have this operating system. If it doesn’t work on Windows Vista, run FileCure in compatibility mode. Right-click FileCure and select “Properties”.

In the properties window, go to “Compatibility” tab then under “Compatibility mode” section, check “Run this program in compatibility mode for” then select a version of Windows XP from the dropdown list and then click “OK”. For FileCure, personally, you don’t need this program because its job is only to open file types with common programs that you are not familiar with.

FileCure has also been retired and replaced with Digital Care AntiVirus Complete.
