Can I recover deleted files according to the deletion date in Windows 7?

If there is any way to do this, could you please describe step by step how doing this?

Hi,

First and foremost, please check your recycle bin first to check if you haven't deleted the files permanently.

Second, if you have indeed, try system restore. You may do so by:

Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

If system restore still didn't work, the 3rd one may do the magic.

To start, please remember where you have deleted the file. Go there and create a dummy file, the same file name as your deleted file. 

After creating, right click on the file and hit on properties. Under the "Previous Versions" tab, you will see files that are deleted with the same name. Click on restoring if your file is there.

Yes Dear,

You can recover a deleted file. You are lucky for using Windows 7. There are two methods for recovering deleted files from your Windows 7 computer.

First one:

Go to the folder where it was located. Right click on it and look for “Restore previous versions” below of the popup dialog, click on it. You will get a list of deleted files including date on which day you have deleted that. Now click on restoring or copy the icon.

Second method:

Create a file name with the same name and extension and save it where your deleted file was located. Right click on the created file and go to properties and then “Previous versions”. Now do the same described earlier.

If you accidentally deleted your file from recycle bin there is no way that system restoration could retrieve the files. The best way to retrieve the file as long as it is in good condition is to download free software called "File Scavenger Data Recovery Utility".

File Scavenger retrieves all deleted data even if it is deleted from the recycle bin.

Hi there,

You can recover your deleted files using "Restoration".

But first, check your recycle bin, if the file is still there then just click the file and restore it.

It is a file recovery application that works well. You don't need to install it. You can just simply click the exe file and the application will pops up.

First, you have to specify the source drive, just click on Drives and search for it.

Then, click the Search Deleted Files Button.

Also click the check box that says "Include used clusters by other files" and 'Include even the file size is zero".

Now if you already find the files you want to restore, click the Restore by copying button.

You can restore it correctly if it is just recently deleted and if your drive has a lot of space.
