Hello experts,

 

When I attempted to log into my user an error message displayed saying “The application has failed to start because sfc_os.dll was not found. I tried to reinstall this application to fix this problem but I could not resolve the issue. Now I confused with this error that is why I extremely need your help.

 

Thanks for any assistance.

Restart your computer in safe mode and see if you accidentally deleted the file and restore from your recycle bin.

Another solution is to carry out a system restore to get the computer to an earlier time when It worked. This can be done by pressing F8 while powering on the PC and enter the safe mode option. Before logging in it will ask if you need to restore your machine to an earlier time. Choose that option
