Any flash program for HTC

I need good and safe flash program for HTC. If anyone could also guide me that would be awesome. My HTC diamond is really acting strange and I can't use it properly most of the time. I've read somewhere that a flashing it could do the trick. I could give more details for those who are willing to give a hand.

How are you?

I have read similar problems with your mobile regarding flash players. Most of them have tried to switch the use of internet browsers. They are saying that it worked better on the explorer browser.

To Flash your HTC Diamond Try this now….

Before Flashing ROM:

  1. Backup your Phone’s data (You may use pimbackup).
  2. Download a supported fresh copy of your device’s firmware. If you need to download 2.03 ROM Europe versions. You will find more Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV ROM Development – xda-developers
  3. Download an Unsigned Version of Hard-SPL
  4. Check that windows mobile device center / active-sync working.
  5. PC or Laptop.

Start >> Change SPL with Hard-SPL

Before starting this check your phone battery is more than 55%.

  • Connect your phone with the pc & synchronize your phone with ActiveSync
  • Run romupdateutility.exe. Then follow the on screen steps accordingly & it will shows the SPL you are flashing Like ‘Diamond 1.00’ or similar to it. Agree to its terms.
  • Now it will begin the process. A warning massage will show.
  • After finishing it will reset the phone, if it restarts then be happy. Congratulation!!!

Now it is ready to flash the ROM. There are many ways to flash the ROM. But here I’m describing the safest & coolest way. But you can do it over USB connection too.

Safest Way>>

  • Take the downloaded ROM, if it in “exe” format then extracts it with Zip or Compressing Software. You can use 7zip or WinZip. Now find the largest “nbh” formatted file.
  • Rename the largest file as same as “DIAMING.NBH” (all text should be in Capital letter).
  • Copy this file to your phone’s directory or storage. Then take off the back part or find reset switch then make a soft reset by pressing the stylus into the hole with red button in for 3 seconds.
  • Then press & hold down the Back Key and the Volume Down Key until a Red, Green & Blue screen is displayed. When this will happen as soon as possible release those  keys. It will stuck at grey screen.
  • Now press Power Key sometimes later grey screen will disappear & flashing process will start. (But if it warns for USB Refreshing then try another version of Hard-SPL.)

Finish>>

  • After processing  complete, soft reset the phone again and your new firmware will be installed.

Do not try if you’re not sure.
