I have an Android phone and I need to free main memory. I’m at 96% capacity already used. How can I free up more main memory space without taking my apps off?

I have a Blackberry Torch 9860 OS 7 with 1.2 GHz QC 8655 and my mobile carrier is China Mobile.  I just installed Kartta Maps Version 1.1 but it wouldn't work.  Installed other map apps as well and they don't work either.  Is map application for blackberry china mobile censored?

My PC just got formatted and is now on Windows 8.  I'd like to reinstall my Huawei Sonic U8650 with Android OS Version 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) but I couldn't find the software that came with it.  Where can I download Huawei sonic manage software?  Any suggestions would highly be appreciated.  Thanks.
