Pure html code for star ratings without CSS

Not a CSS fan here. I’m looking for pure HTML code for star ratings that would also allow me to design it without integrating CSS. Is this good? Anything basic for me would do. If you could share HTML coding with stars on a black background, I would love it.

Pure html code for star ratings without CSS

You cannot implement a star rating system only using HTML code. You will have to integrate CSS into HTML for your rating system as CSS is always needed for styling the HTML page. You can use radio buttons instead of stars for rating using HTML, if you don’t want to use CSS.I mostly prefer to implement a star rating using javascript along with PHP and Ajax.
