Hello. The 0x80072ee7 chrome error occurs while performing an update on it. This error occurs due to internet issues. This error can get resolved by following the below steps.

Method 1:

Check the internet connectivity.
• Hold Windows key + I; this opens up the settings, then, navigate to Network and Internet, and then to the proxy.
• Enable automatically detect settings option.
• Disable the use of a proxy server option.

• Disable the VPN app if it is in your system and if you’re using it.

Method 2:

Whitelist google chrome.exe

• In your PC, go to file explorer and open it.
• Next, paste the following path in the address bar.
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Windows Defender Firewall\Allowed apps
• Next, click on the change settings option.
• Next, check the network connections, both public and private and click on ok.
Method 3: Uninstall and reinstall the Google chrome.
