I am encountering a weird problem in my Windows 10 PC. My device turns off automatically while I am doing any task after displaying an error code- 0x8000400000000002. How to fix this problem?

How To Fix 0x8000400000000002 Error In Windows 10?

Try out the following methods to fix the 0x8000400000000002 error in Windows 10.

Method 1

a. Right-click on This PC.
b. Go to Manage.
c. Open Device Manager.

d. Expand Display Drivers.
e. Right-click on the driver and uninstall it.
f. Follow the dialogue boxes that appear and perform relative action.
g. Open the Device Manager again.

h. Click on the button shown in the image.
i. This process will install the drivers.
j. This method should solve your problem.

Method 2

a. In the Window’s search box, type Power Options and open it.

b. Click on Change plan settings.

c. Click on Change advance power settings.

d. Click on Hard Disk.
e. Click on “Turn off hard disk after.”
f. Set it to Never or “0”.
g. Apply->OK.
