An error occurred trying to install java in new Mac OS

Hi experts,

I am getting an odd error message when I try to install java in a brand new Mac OS. However, I am getting access only to Deny the access and the allow button is disabled. How do I solve this error? How do I configure the system to access the computer? Please assist me solve this problem. Thanks in advance.

I think this is pretty legit if you install GOTA on your computer or the Group-Office Transfer Agent. Group Office is an open source project management and customer relations application that was first released in 2003. With GOTA, you can lock a file while you are working on it and no other users can have access to it.

Since you are using a Mac here’s how you can configure GOTA over a Mac OS X. First thing you should do is to make sure that Java is already installed on your computer. It is normal for a Mac computer to automatically fail when opening JNLP files using Java Webstart.

So, when the web browser prompts you on what to do with “jnlp.php”, select “Open with”, “Other program”, and then navigate to “System/Library/CoreServices/Java Web Start”. If in case the system tray icon doesn’t appear, try running the following command in the terminal:

• gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['all']"
