How good is joining an affiliate webmaster forum?

Hi! I've done some affiliate marketing in the past through blogging, I'm curious if anybody here has tried joining an affiliate webmaster forum? Also can anybody point me to one that is good? Apparently there's a lot out there. Thanks!
