Hi game boys, I was at home playing computer games, I played need for speed shift, I was in the middle of exiting thrill of the game, suddenly the game stopped and an error message appeared on my screen, the error message tells me, that the game will be closed because the game has stopped working.

Need for Speed World has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.

Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is  Available.

On my frustration of the game, I restarted my computer, boot again, and play again, I was just a minute playing the game and it stopped again, displaying the same annoying error message, I scan my computer for some virus that might infect the game application, but no virus was found, please help me find solution to my problem in need for speed shift.  May the force be with you, thanks.

Hi there.

It may be caused by graphic card overheating. Check your ventilation; make sure that the cpu fans are working properly and well ventilated. Do also clean your computer and make sure the fans were not hitting anything. Clear the fans from dust and any obstructing objects. If this still did not work,do ATX reset. Unplug everything from your PC. Including USB, Power, monitor, mouse, etc. Hold the on / off  for atleast 30 seconds. Plug in your Power cable and Monitor only, turn it on first, then plug in other pc peripherals. Launch the game again and see same problem will occur.

The game will be closed because the game has stopped working.

Check the internet for more information about the game, it might be a bug or something like that the cause the game crash like that. Check the official website of the game to download game fix and official updates they might have released a package for the game to fix the error.

You can also try reinstalling the game first and then update it to make sure that no errors will occur. EA is the manufacturer of Need For Speed so it might be the best to start from their or search directly for the official website of the game or simply search it on Google for the latest update.
