Automation apps for Android to play sound files for incoming calls

Hi,

Android has automation apps for example the AutomateIt. Can they play sound files during incoming calls? Looking for workaround to play custom audio file inside the call and not outside the call. Additionally to play custom audio file while call is put on hold.

Hi Jose,

I believe the function you mentioned will not be available in an Android phone. I guess you are speaking about playing sounds during the call. Unfortunately the audio file could be played only to an output device. In the case of android phone it is speaker, Bluetooth headset or headset and it will not allow you to play audio while an active call. If you are interested to know about android media playback, you can refer this article from android which will give you some idea about how the media playback work. In the case of media playback while call, there is no permission in the program to do so.
