When Sims 2 was installed on my computer. it worked perfectly. However, it has started malfunctioning by resetting itself while in use. This deletes all saved data forcing me to begin playing the game afresh. Does anyone have an Idea what has caused the Sims 2 to misbehave in this manner. I need your Help.
Is the SIM 2 application resetting itself when you restart the computer or is it doing that anytime when you are playing the game? If the reason is the former, then the problem is a result of the settings that you have set for the SIM 2 application. You have set it in a manner that it does not save the changes that happen when you play a new game. When you restart the computer and the changes that are made when you are playing the game are discarded. You will therefore need to go to the settings of that application and configure it in a manner that will allow it to save the changes made when you play a new game.
