Hi Folks,
At the time of updating Skype, I sometimes receive error 1603. Because of the previous uninstall of Skype this error occurs when the PluginManager.msi file is not found in the system. Microsoft bought Skype recently and it is a service of an immediate messaging, which supports to calls to landline and mobiles for a fraction of the price of a normal phone call across the globe. Are they going to improve it or are they going to ruin it. We shall see.

Let me help you with this error. There are two or three possible solutions to fix this error.
If you have already installed Skype and now getting this error, then go to control panel and open Add\Remove Programs. From here uninstall the Skype and clean your registry regarding Skype. Then run the setup again.
Now second option (you are installing the Skype for the first time and receiving this error).
You have to update you windows in this case, because there are some components missing that need to run the Skype. Also make sure that you have clean your registry.
Hopefully you will not receive this error message again.
