“RS 005-xx” and “RS 006-xx” Problems

Hello!

I try to open the Remote Setup Software, then this error message “RS 005-xx" or "RS 006-xx" shows on the screen. Need your help to solve this. Thanks in advance.

“RS 005-xx” and “RS 006-xx” Problems

Several reasons might be there for this issue:

• A fax is being sent or received by the machine.
• A function is being operated.
• Some type of machine error.
• PC-FAX receive software is on process.

For solution, these following steps can be applicable:

1. Select Finish to to close the error message "RS 005-xx" or "RS 006-xx" on the display.

2. Then do the following:

a) If the machine is working on sending or receiving fax, wait for the job to complete.

b) If a function is on process, press Stop key on the control panel of the machine to close the menu.

c) If some type of error is there in the machine, clear the error.

d) If PC-FAX receive software is activated, close it.

3. After this, run Remote Setup again. Remote Setup should now function correctly.
