Hi All,

I am using Windows 7 on my PC.

I am trying to convert DAT files to WMV but have no idea how to do it.

Please tell me whether I can convert it through any software?

Which software to be used to convert DAT file into windows WMV file.

Hi there Asten, 

First of all, is this .DAT file that you are talking about is from a VCD file?

If so, its pretty easy to convert these files. All you need to do is download and install dBpowerAMP Music Converter (dMC) from here or any other converter software available online. 

Next, download the VCD codec from Codec Central for your .DAT files. 

From the program you can easily choose the .DAT file that you wish to convert and save. For any problems encountered for these software, you can always contact their support.
